Non Toxic Activewear Brand Silver Sea Apparel Adds New Styles Coming In Spring 2025

January 6, 2025, Code Cod, MA – Silver Sea Apparel, a non-toxic and plastic-free activewear line, has announced the release of additional styles this spring following demand from existing customers after their July launch.

Founder Nicole Foy is excited to expand her line and help more women prioritize their health, optimize performance, and detox their wardrobes from harmful chemicals that are all too common in apparel from many of the most well-known activewear brands today. New additions to Silver Sea’s growing plastic-free and non-toxic line include a Tank Top with a Built in Sports Bra for everyday wear and Medium Impact Sports Bra.

“Our goal is to empower women to optimize their performance and prioritize their health so they can enjoy active, healthy, and comfortable lifestyles. If women are constantly wearing clothing made from petrochemicals, it’s hard to perform your best because your health is going to suffer.

Today, about 80% of activewear is made from synthetic materials like polyester and nylon, which are derived from petroleum and contain harmful toxins like BPA, PFAS, forever chemicals, lead, formaldehyde, and many more, which have a number of negative health impacts including increased risk of type 2 diabetes, infertility, and cancer.

We’re proud to be the only activewear brand manufactured in the USA using a plastic-free, non-toxic, and plant-based blend of Tencel Lyocell and Bio-based Spandex that is also third party tested for toxins and biodegradable.”
